Cry Tough: Review
Spanish Harlem is the setting for this melodrama about a Puerto Rican street kid's response to social and racial prejudice. After doing a year in the slammer, Saxon is released and decides to live a clean life instead of renewing a policy of thievery. In this well-acted piece the characters meld into their seedy surroundings. Active editing job by Knudtson accelerates the pace.
