Pointless comedy has Garrick as an alcoholic who bets a drinking companion that he can flag down the next woman in a motorcar and persuade her to dance with him by the roadside. As it happens, the next woman driver is running away from her rich American fiance, an elderly gent she would rather do without. Garrick not only dances with her, he marries her and gives up drinking. leave a comment
