The title vessel is the real star of this programmer about the pair who are responsible for its invention--Arlen and Terry. Romance comes to the shipyard, however, as nightclub singer Parker makes eyes at Terry and marries him, much to the chagrin of Arlen. The latter lucks out when Terry
gets killed and Parker turns to him for comfort. Far from convincing, especially when it comes to the shabbily built torpedo boat.
