Torpedo Bay

During WW II Ferzetti tries to steer his Italian submarine through enemy waters. Mason is the British commander who must seek out and destroy Ferzetti's craft. The Italian manages to get the submarine into international waters and is given permission to remain there for two weeks. Mason also holes up in Tangiers in order to keep his eye on the enemy. The two, through a tenative truce, build up a mutual respect, although Keen, an intelligence officer, wants the Italians either to remain in a neutral position or to have their ship destroyed. Using Palmer, Ferzetti's lover, Keen tries to influence Ferzetti's position. Ferzetti accuses Palmer of spying and leaves port....
