Mitchell does all he can to keep this picture from failing, but it's not enough. He is cast as a judge hearing the case of young Hahn, a decent New York kid caught up in a web of circumstances. We see her life in flashbacks that include an abortion after a fling with a sailor, and an arrest after being caught in bed with a man more than twice her age. This is hurt mainly by its excess of courtroom scenes. leave a comment
