A comic crook caper which centers on a consistently unsuccessful gang that botches every robbery attempt they make. They finally hit on the idea of kidnaping the daughter of millionaire Terry-Thomas. Again they err and wind up with the man's naughty wife, whom he couldn't care less about losing. He finds it an opportunity to devote more time to his mistress and refuses to meet the kidnapers' demands. Naturally the wife is infuriated and assists the crooks in their attempt to rob him. The humor is spotty but when it works, it is hysterical. Raves go to Terry-Thomas for producing some riotous comic moments. leave a comment
