Another fascinating programmer from the master of the B picture, director Edgar G. Ulmer. Cortez, a master criminal with the ability to control the will of others, ensnares an aging ex-con, Lynn, and forces him to commit crimes. Lynn's daughter, Parker, learns of Cortez's scheme, and, with the help of her boy friend, breaks the evil man's spell over her father.
