Barr plays a prisoner of war who is selected to be interviewed by the infamous Tokyo Rose (Long), the dangerously seductive voice that many WW II veterans will never forget. Given the opportunity, Barr makes a shambles of her broadcast studio and escapes with the aid of an Irish
journalist. Determined to avenge the death of one of his brothers in arms (Rose is indirectly to blame), Barr decides to kidnap the broadcaster. With the aid of members of the Tokyo underground, he goes about accomplishing this task. Though it suffers in development and believability, this is a
well-paced, well-handled film.
