Tokyo File 212

Though a colorful atmosphere is created through the photography of the backstreets and nightspots of Tokyo, the lack of a concrete story keeps this picture from being anything but moderate entertainment. The plot concerns US agent Peyton's efforts to curb communist activities in Japan during the Korean War. Unfortunately, the film doesn't amount to much beyond the beautifully captured setting.
