A depressing experimental tale, heavily and darkly poetic, about a pair of mute dockworkers from London's East End who fall in love and live together in their silent world. One is accidentally killed by some cruel and insensitive young people and ends up floating helplessly down the
river. A commendable effort by 25-year-old director Mazzetti, a British Film Institute student, this received praise at the Cannes Film Festival.
