Timetable

Tightly woven yarn in which insurance investigator Stevens finds the daily routine of the office and the confines of his cozy home unbearable. Making a complete switch, he takes to the other side of the law, becoming the target of a onetime dear friend, railroad cop Calder, who doesn't want to accept the fact that he must bring the cold wrath of justice down on his buddy. Performances are all solid, and director Stevens makes good use of the potential beneath each character. The only problem seems to be with the scripter, who was unable to effectively tie all the elements together.
