For The First Time: Review
A touching film about opera singer Lanza's attempts to raise money for the treatment of his deaf girl friend. He goes on a tour of various European capitals playing fund-raising concerts and earning dollars from his magnificent voice. This turned out to be Lanza's final film as he died the same year, at age 38, of a heart attack in a Rome clinic.
