Young professor Doug McCadden (Ben Murphy) brings Pharaoh Tutankhamen's sarcophagus back to campus and has it X-rayed. Accidental overexposure to the radiation revives the alien creature inside, which eons ago killed the pharaoh. The linen-swathed creature, infuriated by a student's theft of the transmitter crystals it needs to return to its home planet, goes on a killing rampage, with green-filtered footage representing its point of view. The only thing that sets this cliched film apart from its genre predecessors is the quickness of its bandaged alien, a departure from the usual doddering mummies. leave a comment
