This episodic romance follows the lives of several employees of a well-known London dress shop. Hampton is the head dressmaker who borrows one of her own creations to go to a big dance with a wealthy gentleman. However, she is accused of stealing the outfit, though predictably enough her name is cleared by film's end. Alma Reville, who worked on the script, was the wife of Alfred Hitchcock. leave a comment
