Fascinating if one-sided examination of the power of religious cults and the methods they employ to attract new members. Mancuso is good as the vulnerable youth who seeks solace and comfort in a cult after enduring a messy breakup with his girlfriend. The film details Mancuso's conversion,
his parents' efforts to locate him, and his "deprogramming"--which seems as much of a brainwashing as anything he gets from the cult. Rubinek (UNFORGIVEN, TRUE ROMANCE) steals the film with ease.
