THUNDER IN PARADISE 2, the sequel to the made-for-TV THUNDER IN PARADISE, is a throwback to 1950s-style kiddie adventure entertainment like "Sky King", a modestly budgeted action series whose cliched rescue missions and cheap sets took a backseat to the Songbird Plane, a flying machine
worshipped by kids. In THUNDER IN PARADISE 2 it's a super-duper Thunderboat rather than a plane, but everything else is pretty much the same.
