A rugged outdoors adventure film starring Reeves and Byrd as two logging buddies who send away for a mail-order bride and are shocked to discover they have both requested the same woman, the lovely Darcel. Their boss, Talbot, who also owns the local saloon, offers a hefty bonus to the man who can cut down the most trees. To solve the sticky marital situation, the friends agree that the man who cuts down the most timber and collects the bonus can marry Darcel. Unfortunately, while Reeves and Byrd are swinging axes, Darcel gets bored and wanders into the welcome arms of Talbot. Talbot's discarded girl friend, Martin, decides to get revenge by exposing him as a card cheat. With this information in hand, Reeves and Byrd play Talbot in a game of poker with the stakes being everything he owns. They win, kick the bum out, and unite to run an honest town. leave a comment
