Thunder In Dixie

THUNDER IN DIXIE is a stock-car racing movie set during Atlanta's Dixie 400. Ticker Welsh (Mike Bradford) is a racer obsessed with avenging the death of his fiancee, who, he believes, was killed because of the irresponsibility of fellow racer Mickey Arnold (Harry Millard). Ticker plans to get Mickey during the big race despite the protests of his new girl friend (Nancy Berg) and Arnold's wife (Judy Lewis). During the race, Ticker's recklessness causes an accident that lands him in the hospital, leaving the way clear for Mickey to win.
