The Thrill Of Brazil

1946, Movie, NR, 91 mins

starstarstarstar
A less-than-thrilling musical starring Wynn as a Broadway producer in Brazil who attempts to prevent his ex-wife Keyes from marrying toothpaste magnate Joslyn. Though the story line is paper thin, the discomfiture is greatly relieved by some of the best tap dancing Miller has ever done and another chance to glimpse the wonderful dancing team of Veloz and Yolanda. Songs include: "A Man is a Brother to a Mule" (sung by Miller), "Thrill of Brazil," "CopaCabana," "The Custom House," "That's Good Enough for Me," "My Sleepy Guitar," (Doris Fisher, Allan Roberts), "Silhouette Samba," "Linda Mujer (You Never Say Yes and You Never Say No)," "Minute Samba," and "Mucho Dinero." leave a comment
