Three Violent People

The title's three violent people--former Confederate soldier Heston; former prostitute and wife of Heston, Baxter; and Heston's one-armed brother, Tryon--find themselves battling each other and money-grabbing carpetbaggers. Heston and Baxter marry after knowing little or nothing about each other and return to his Bar-S ranch which has been run by Mexican ranch foreman Roland and his sons. Conflicts arise when Tryon demands his portion of the ranch, in gold, and tries to convince Heston to sell to any Northerner who wants it.
