A remake of the dated 1933 film, this version again displays a trio of goons traveling the Thames on a two-week holiday. They meet three young ladies on the shore and seem to get into just as much trouble on land as on water, running into Hampton Court maze, for example. Either way, the
script doesn't hold water. It was only the second picture for London-born Ireland, a onetime ballet dancer who made her screen debut the year before as a dancer in ROSALIE. She acquitted herself well before the cameras and won special mention in this dim-witted attempt at farce.
