An interesting John Wayne picture which has him falling in love with Gurie, the daughter of Cobunrn, a Viennese surgeon. Coburn and Gurie have come to the US to set up a practice, settling in a Dust Bowl community. When Wayne and Gurie meet, he falls for her, but she's devoted to Varno, her Austrian lover who, she believes, laid down his life for her. leave a comment
