A lightweight 3-D musical about a mother (Moorehead) who takes daughters Fleming, Brewer, Bell, and Bell to the Yukon to meet their father (Wilcox), who has joined the gold rush. Upon arriving they learn he's been killed, and the women are forced to find work to make ends meet.
Naturally, they find romance in the frozen North as well. The story is innocuous but entertaining. The direction and performances are fine. Musical numbers including "Baby Baby Baby" (Mack David, Jerry Livingston, sung by Teresa Brewer) and "I Guess It Was You All the Time" (Johnny Mercer, Hoagy
Carmichael, sung by Brewer, Guy Mitchell) fill out the time. This film has the unique distinction...
