A pleasant tale about a farm boy, Lydon, who finds a colt wandering around and raises it as his own, much to the consternation of his stern uncle, Hohl. When he learns that it is actually one of his girl friend's father's herd, he needs her help to assure a happy ending with the animal. Joan Brodel later gained fame as Joan Leslie in such pictures as HIGH SIERRA (1941), SERGEANT YORK (1941), and YANKEE DOODLE DANDY (1943). leave a comment
