Some gangsters try to muscle in on the Australian racing scene. They try to kill the favored horse in the Melbourne Cup and manage to shoot one of the racing ponies from the stands during the climactic finale. A poorly produced feature with a muddled plot saved by its well-done climax.
Twelvetrees (that was really her name carried on from her first marriage) steals the acting honors and certainly deserved her trip down under to make the picture.
