A swank and surprisingly faithful remake of the 1968 Steve McQueen-Faye Dunaway favorite. Thrill-seeking billionaire Thomas Crown (Pierce Brosnon) orchestrates the daytime heist of a priceless Monet. He thinks he's home free until the museum's leggy insurance agent (Rene Russo) sashays onto the scene with a dangerous proposal.
