MGM's musical factory couldn't always produce something terrific, as this film shows. The familiar boy-meets-girl story opens as opera singer Melchior brings his son, Johnston, to Mackinac Island. There Johnston meets Williams, the star of the "aquacaper." Durante provides some comic
