An abysmal moonshiner picture about a preacher, Allen, who promotes free love and hard drinking. He enlists McCarthy to help him with his illegal distillery, but the pair meet opposition from the FBI and many of the townsfolk. A rash of religious murders (people are stoned to death and
crucified) is committed by Sager, a deranged fanatic who is trying to help the preacher. McCarthy and Sager eventually wind up fighting, and the latter gets his head blown off by his own shotgun. Another repugnant H.G. Lewis entry which was, unfortunately, the last picture for Tim Holt. After
