A chemist, Stuart, is sent to prison when a handbag he finds and "borrows" some money from is also missing a valuable piece of jewelry. His problems continue when a work associate steals a special formula of his for making paint. Upon his release from prison, Stuart hunts down the culprit and proves his innocence. leave a comment

Given that for the bulk of human history, the most important thing you could know about a person — in both the East and the West — was who his or her family was, I’m surprised that this order isn’t the norm everywhere.
