Dick Clark proves himself a competent actor as he stars in this routine melodrama about life in a big-city high school. Clark is the new teacher in town and sort of a copy of Glenn Ford in THE BLACKBOARD JUNGLE, except Ford had to contend with the tough likes of Sidney Poitier, Vic Morrow, and Jamie Farr and Clark must put up with McClure, Callan, and Berlinger.
