Well done but unspectacular French WW II film sees the invasion of France by 400 English paratroopers who aim to strike and weaken Hitler's troops ahead of D-Day. Great detail is given to the training of the troops and the planning of the invasion, which leads to the second half of the
film--the British paratroopers teaming up with the French commandos to battle the Nazis. It was one of the first war films produced by the French after the end of the war. (In French; English subtitles.)
