Well-acted melodrama starring Morgan as a loving and devoted family man who feels neglected and mistreated by his wife (Wilson) and children. He begins a secret friendship with a former employee (Barnes). When the children discover his "affair," they are anxious for him to break it off.
Barnes reassures the children by inviting them into her home and convincing them that the situation is innocent. Further, she helps them to see that they have been guilty of behaving badly toward their kind-hearted father. In the end Morgan stays with his now-loving family and Barnes goes her own
