A seemingly forgotten film, THERE'S ONE BORN EVERY MINUTE sports a nine-year-old Elizabeth Taylor in her movie debut. She plays the bratty sister of equally bratty OUR GANG alumnus Alfalfa Switzer, both children of bumbling pudding manufacturer Herbert. Herbert is drafted into his town's mayoral race by the village bosses who want to deal with someone manageable. To boost the popularity of his pudding, Herbert declares that it contains the vital, little-known "vitamin Z," and sales skyrocket along with his political campaign. When Vitamin Z is revealed to be a hoax, the town bosses try to dump Herbert and expose him as a fraud, but the scrappy pudding seller turns ...
