Just another musical set in the 1890s, this one starring Bowman as a hustling, successful property developer who tries to swindle young widow Knox out of her plot of valuable land, which sits next to reluctant partner Chaney's music hall. Despite the fact that his plans will leave dozens homeless, Bowman puts the scheme into motion until he suddenly falls in love with Knox and gives up his ambitious moneymaking idea.
