Skelton is a n'er-do-well who will tell girl friend Maxwell just about anything to impress her, which gets him in big trouble. By this time, the story was pretty moldy considering that the first version of this film had been made twenty years previously and was followed by remakes in 1929 and 1934. The film did lousy at the box office. Though Anderson (on loan apparently from Jack Benny) is given a featured billing, the talented man has surprisingly little to do. Production values are okay. leave a comment
