This juvenile comedy stars Virginia Weidler, a former child star struggling to make it in adolescent territory. Joan Lyons (Weidler), the president of her high school's movie star fan club, has a passion for collecting autographs of major stars. Leading her pack of equally zealous girl friends on excursions resembling a big game safari, Joan stalks New York City train stations and hotels in search of the elusive signature.
