The Young Poisoner's Handbook

Based on the notorious case of British poisoner Graham Young, this black comedy is more black than funny, except in the queasiest sort of way. Young Graham (Hugh O'Conor) slowly poisons his stepmother, charting her horrific decline in neatly kept notebooks, until someone twigs to her trouble -- too late to do her any good -- and puts the little sociopath away. But he charms a trusting psychiatrist and gets himself released. Then he does it again, this time from the priceless position of tea-boy at a small factory: After all, how better to spit in the eye of English complacency than by defiling the ritual afternoon cuppa?
