The Young And The Brave

During the Korean conflict Calhoun, Bendix, and Ivers escape their captors to flee across enemy lines to freedom, a feat that is made possible only through the efforts of a young boy and his German Shepherd dog. The boy's parents were earlier killed by the communists for harboring the American soldiers. Ivers is killed and the brainwashed Jaeckel joins the survivors. Nearing their rescue helicopter, Calhoun and Bendix refuse to board until they are sure that the Korean lad who helped them is safe.
