The Woman On Pier 13

Ryan is the vice-president of a San Francisco shipping company who, when he was younger, was involved with the Communist Party. Gomez, a Communist leader, wants Ryan to help the party again by causing a strike. He blackmails him by threatening to reveal a murder Ryan had committed when he was in the party. Ryan's wife, Day, and her brother, Agar, are also harassed by the Communist and Agar is killed when he finds out what the Commies are doing. Ryan decides to take care of the Reds and knocks them off in a blazing gun battle. The title is ridiculous, but the film is a well-paced action melodrama.
