Producing bad remakes of French films seems to be a growing tradition among American filmmakers, and taking his turn with the hatchet here is the dubiously talented writer-director-actor Gene Wilder. Based on the film PARDON MON AFFAIRE (1977), this film centers on Theodore Pierce (Wilder), a happily married man whose life takes an unexpected turn after he encounters Charlotte (Kelly LeBrock). The beautiful young lady is standing over an air vent in the sidewalk that blows up her skirt. Theodore is mesmerized by her red panties and begins an unrelenting pursuit of this mystery lady.
