Based on a novel by John Nichols, author of The Milagro Beanfield War, THE WIZARD OF LONELINESS is an atmospheric coming-of-age tale set in a small Vermont town during WW II. Lukas Haas plays Wendall Olet, a precocious 12-year-old who is sent to live with his grandparents. Sullen and isolated, Wendall believes himself to have great powers.
