The Wild Geese

This adventure film offers no surprises and tries to get by on an all-star cast, though most of the stars are a bit too old to be taken seriously in their roles as battle-hardened soldiers of fortune. Burton is the leader of a force of mercenaries who invade an African nation intent on rescuing a former president of that country and putting him back into office so British industrialists can return to business as usual.
