Young Kelly is among the leaders of a group of children who are mistreated by their parents and other adults. Making their complaints to a sympathetic farmhand, Miskell--whose satanic visage bodes no good--the children are offered a Faustian bargain. By embracing demonism, they are able
to cast a spell which eradicates their tormentors. In the process, they assume many of the characteristics of the grownups. An ambitious social allegory, the first and only production by an independent group formed near the city of Cleveland, this is a surprisingly professional job.
