An absorbing crime drama, with Price as a wealthy business tycoon who hires attorney O'Brien to work as his bodyguard. When he gets entangled in Price's venomous scheme to snare a stolen $1 million, O'Brien backs off, thinking he may be a fall guy. He enlists the aid of tough police lieutenant Bendix and together they trick Price into a confession.
