Greek Director Cacoyannis uses a boat explosion as an excuse to have his main character Heflin think back over his life while clinging to the debris with his 10-year-old son. We learn about his problematic romance with wife Lambetti, his attempt to sail around the world in his yacht, and his bout with alcoholism. We don't learn why we should be interested. leave a comment
