Members of Chicago's Second City comedy group were largely responsible for this silly concoction about a future president of the US who is being used by his cabinet members to create programs which they see as beneficial. One such plan is the dropping of a bomb on New York to try to boost
the stock market. Darden and Ferguson came up with the story outline for this, but the film's dialog was improvised. Peter Boyle made his film debut in this movie.
