This film offers the refreshing story of a 7-year-old boy who is the uncle of a boy the same age as he. Disturbed by this fact, he has difficulty dealing with children his own age, feeling like a child at times, while occasionally burdened with the awesome responsibility of being an uncle.
He removes himself from his friends and family, but eventually grows to care for his nephew and his father more than ever before. This is a sensitive film about an unusual situation. Some controversy surrounded the picture, when director Desmond Davis and executive producer Leonard Davis (no
relation) found themselves disagreeing over some allegedly unauthorized re-editing.
