1985, Movie, NR, 104 mins

An excessively violent picture reportedly based on real occurrences in 1958 in the South American jungles. Gringo (Stuart Whitman) heads deep into the jungle in search of a booty of diamonds. He tried once before to find the gems but nearly died in the process, while his friends had their heads shrunk. This time, Gringo has found two friends who obviously have little regard for their head size, Zapata (Pedro Armendariz, Jr.) and Jaime (Jorge Luke). Also hunting for the treasure is Klaus (Donald Pleasence), a crazed Nazi hiding out in South America while trying to conduct genetic superman experiments. Adding to the cast of international stars wandering around in the jungles and looking dumbfounded are Bradford Dillman, John Ireland, and Emilio Fernandez, who was once Mexico's greatest filmmaker. Strongly objectionable for children and not too highly recommended for sane adults. leave a comment
