The Treasure Of Lost Canyon: Review

It's a battle of professionals when kindly doctor Powell rescues youngster Ivo from the evil machinations of unscrupulous lawyer Hull, who has placed the boy in the care of a troupe of traveling medicine show tricksters. The small-town physician offers the lad a good home until the two happen upon an old chest filled with valuable treasure. The boy conceals the chest under a waterfall to keep it from the clutches of the larcenous lawyer and from Powell, who suddenly sees his opportunity to return to his former licentious life in the big city. Powell recants, deciding to concentrate on what's best for the boy, and they try to recover the chest from its underwater lair. Powell made this film after a three-year hiatus from the industry; it is hardly worthy of his considerable talents. leave a comment
