The Trail Of The Pink Panther

Peter Sellers was already dead two years or so when this stitched-together pastiche of out-takes and old footage from previous "Panther" movies was issued. Blake Edwards found several sequences and spliced them together, fooling nobody, as Sellers seems to age then grow younger from one scene to the next. The famed bauble known as "The Pink Panther" is stolen once more and Sellers' Inspector Clouseau is again assigned to recover it. After he has embarked on his quest, his plane is reported "missing," thus sparking TV newshound Marie Jouvet (Joanna Lumley) to go out and interview all of the people who touched the inspector's life.
